I truly felt like a guest to nature, like humans were created to be, and I have never felt more connected with the world. One of the most enlightening moments of my trip was when I stood on Danco Island, feeling the winds lifting me off my feet and watching the glaciers behind a veil of snowy mist. Right there and then, I heard Antarctica tell me, “You, too, are part of the wind.” And I was truly one with the world.
